It is with edification and delight that we mention one of the SCAMPI Haiku stars of the Western Hemisphere, Doug Jones. Eye watering PIID provision interspersed with thoughts on any subject, shows a man who is poised at the ready.
Doug’s quick assessment of the Viejas marginal edge resulted in the following thoughts:
she’s twenty again?
plays were correct but chips ran …
so you have to laugh
And laff we did. We had no other choice! Such Haiku prowess in a lad who has barely reached his prime.
This truly, is a man to watch.
Thoughts on Haiku

This week, the SCAMPI team expressed their feelings in the form of Haiku prose. Contributions were made from all parties. It should be known that Dave “Mac” McAfee spearheaded the Haiku effort. He’s well known in Haiku circles.
Without his poetic guidance, the team’s efforts would have been nil.
Dave is available for mentoring in this area. If you’re ever in San Diego and need a Haiku pal, Mac’s your man.
